Emma Fozard — Contemporary Headpiece Design

Emma’s work stems from a love of hats and the way in which they enhance the stature and feelings of the wearer. Following her degree in Three Dimensional Design where she developed an interest in head adornment and an appreciation of the qualities of wood veneer, emma specialised in creating headwear using this material. Using a combination of woodworking and jewellery making skills she creates headpieces from strips of curved and twisted veneer which are then laminated with other materials such as leather, paper, suede and felt to add texture.

Maud Oustalet

I am a textile artist and jewellery designer. I was born in France and got a degree in product design from an art school in Paris. As far as I can remember I have always been creating things, putting colours together and collecting fabrics and materials. I love working with unexpected colours and shape, each of my jewellery is unique and handmade using as much upcycled material as possible. I have moved to the UK five years ago where I have been making and selling as well as working as a craft tutor. I am currently the in house artist at Craftelicious in Chorlton.
