We want to help kick-start the new wave of entrepreneurial crafters sacking the rat race and finding other ways to make a living people crafting en masse and in public anyone hiding an inner crafter and everyone who just loves buying, finding or making something that bit different.
Membership is open to makers or crafters over the age of 18 who are actively selling their own work who are based in or around Manchester and Greater Manchester. This could be either on your own website, etsy/folksy etc, in your own shop or at markets and fairs.
Membership is £20 a year and will be reviewed prior to each member’s annual renewal date.
Promotion
Promotion for you and your work on the MCM website with a mini bio, photos and links to your shop/website/blog etc.
Keep up to date
Regular emails containing related craft news, opportunities, events and MCM group updates.
Participate
Advance notification for our own organised selling events/fairs(Please note members are not guaranteed stalls at our fairs).
Discounts on materials
Discounts at local shops and suppliers – Fred Aldous
Contribute
Opportunities to contribute to MCM calendar, blog, Flickr and various other online communities about your work/news/up-coming events.
Support
The support of all members and the chance to share all craft type knowledge.
If you would like to join us at MCM, please complete the application form and email it to us.
Please take your time to answer all questions as best you can and remember to attach all links/pictures. MCM look at new member applications once a month but you can apply at any time. MCM will contact you as soon as possible in all instances with further information about your application. Please remember not to send any membership payments until MCM make a request (for example, PayPal request).
